Who am I?

I’ve been passionate about communication and languages since I was young, so it’s no wonder that translation and interpreting became my vocation.

Helena Sancho

I decided to study degrees in Translation and Interpreting and French Language and Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and then a Master’s in Conference Interpreting at the University of La Laguna.

I also combined my studies and my first few years of work with periods spent in France, Italy, Ireland, Norway and Germany, helping me expand my horizons.

Having laid those foundations, I’ve been focusing my energies on international communication, translation and interpreting for the past 10 years, and I enjoy spending my days building bridges between different cultures.

I translate and interpret from Italian, French, English, Catalan and Portuguese to Spanish, and collaborate with a network of colleagues to guarantee an optimal service for other language combinations and specialisations.

I also belong to two major industry associations – ASETRAD, the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters, and ASATI, the Aragonese Association of Translators and Interpreters – and adhere to their respective codes of ethics.
